In 2016, Etisalat Services implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its enterprise platform for ERP Financial operations. The deployment used SAP S/4 HANA with an SAP HANA database configured as an on-premise cloud ERP and database system to deliver International Financial Reporting Standards across the finance organization.
The implementation delivered IFRS capabilities with core finance modules configured for general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and statutory reporting aligned to IFRS. Accounting and billing workflows were implemented in coordination with Ericsson BSCS for billing processing, while order to bill processes were orchestrated via Oracle WebLogic.
Integrations explicitly included Ericsson BSCS for Accounting and Billing, and Oracle WebLogic to support Order to Bill orchestration, creating a multi-application architecture that connected telecom billing systems to SAP S/4 HANA. The integration and operational coverage spanned finance, billing, and order management functions within Etisalat Services operations in the United Arab Emirates.
Governance emphasized IFRS driven financial controls and reporting workflows, with configuration governance to enforce chart of accounts and statutory ledgers inside SAP S/4 HANA. Implementation activities focused on system configuration, interface orchestration, and operational handover to finance and billing teams.

The deployment targeted Etisalat Services workforce in the United Arab Emirates and was scoped to support learning needs for roughly 40,000 employees, positioning EdCast LXP as the central learning experience platform for curated content and self directed learning across the enterprise.

| IBM | Legacy | IBM Maximo | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2012 | 2012 |
In 2012, Etisalat Services implemented IBM Maximo for Enterprise Asset Management. The deployment targeted facilities management operations at Etisalat Facilities Management LLC in Abu Dhabi, supporting engineering supervisors, skilled and technical helpers, project managers, procurement and payroll coordination across facility and maintenance projects.
IBM Maximo was configured to support core Enterprise Asset Management capabilities including work order management, materials request and inventory tracking, procurement request and LPO workflows, subcontractor job completion and evaluation workflows, and reporting for work order logs. The application captured work order and work-done records from field engineering and supervisor teams, and was used to generate job completion certificates and subcontractor evaluation documentation as part of routine operational processes.
Operational use of IBM Maximo included processing and monitoring payments to subcontractors, and producing data used by the payroll department for attendance and manpower reconciliation. The system served as the central record for materials requisitions across civil, electrical, plumbing and mechanical jobs, and for collating supporting documentation required by project managers for payment collection and client certification.
Governance and workflow design positioned the document controller as the central coordinator adjacent to the project manager, enforcing LPO approvals, subcontractor payment processing through IBM Maximo, and consolidation of safety, audit and monthly revenue reporting inputs. Workflows emphasized project manager approvals for purchases and subcontractor work, standardized submission of supporting documents, and routine collation of engineering reports to maintain operational control of maintenance and facilities activities.
