In 2015, FaleMais VoIP deployed Locaweb PABX Virtual to support customer-facing telephony and contact-center operations in Brazil. The deployment used Locaweb PABX Virtual within the PBX, VoiP and Phone Systems category and prioritized a branded softphone experience for both agents and external customers.
The technical implementation paired Locaweb PABX Virtual hosted switching and SIP endpoint management with a branded softphone client provided by InWise, integrating the softphone directly with the PABX Virtual signaling and registration services. Functional capabilities implemented included softphone client provisioning, real-time call handling, agent call control workflows, and endpoint quality tuning to support contact-center telephony and customer service interactions.
Operational scope covered customer service and contact-center departments across Brazil, with rollout activities focused on improving endpoint audio quality and end-user experience. The architecture established a hosted PBX endpoint model where Locaweb PABX Virtual provided centralized VoIP/PABX services and the custom softphone functioned as the primary client, and the engagement explicitly improved softphone quality and end-user experience.
