In 2018 Fantuan implemented Visa Checkout for Payment Processing on its public website. The implementation integrates the Visa Checkout client-side checkout widget into the web storefront checkout flow, presenting Visa Checkout as a payment option during customer checkout. The integration uses tokenized card capture and the Visa Checkout authentication flow to produce payment tokens that are passed to backend systems for processing.
Server-side components exchange Visa Checkout payment tokens with Visa Checkout APIs to authorize and settle payments, and the integration is embedded into the site payment orchestration layer that feeds order management and finance workflows. Operational ownership covers front-end engineering, e-commerce operations, and payments and finance teams responsible for checkout releases and reconciliation. Governance is maintained through web release cadence and payments policy controls to manage configuration, rollout, and ongoing operational support for Visa Checkout.

Operational scope covers HR, driver operations, and onboarding teams, centralizing screening governance and compliance workflows to standardize contractor verification. The Certn implementation reduced the need for additional full-time screening staff, enabling Fantuan to manage high applicant volumes without increasing headcount while maintaining consistent screening procedures.
