Temenos Legacy Temenos T24 Core Banking ERP Services and Operations NdcTech 2018 2018
In 2018, Farmers Commercial Bank F.C.B in Sudan upgraded its Temenos T24 core platform from R12 to R17 as part of a Core Banking modernization delivered by system integrator NdcTech. The project included an upgrade to Temenos T24 and a concurrent upgrade of Temenos Internet Banking, and the implementation went live in 2018 under NdcTech project delivery. The Temenos T24 R17 implementation addressed core ledger and account management functions, and included standard Core Banking capabilities such as deposit processing, payments orchestration, customer records and teller operations consistent with Temenos T24 feature sets. Given the bank s Islamic banking profile, the upgrade was aligned with product configuration for Sharia compliant accounts and transaction handling while the Temenos Internet Banking component extended online channels and self service functionality. NdcTech executed the upgrade program, which encompassed configuration, data migration, regression testing and go live cutover activities to unify Temenos T24 R17 with the internet banking channel. Operational coverage targeted retail and corporate banking operations and centralized core processing, with governance centered on release control and testing gates to validate the integrated Temenos T24 and Temenos Internet Banking environment.
