The Oracle NetSuite ERP implementation included finance configuration for summarized donation posting, conversion of historical donation records from Microsoft Dynamics NAV, and supply chain interface orchestration for Produce Match Maker, Grocery Purchase Program and the Transportation Management System. Workstreams covered converting coded interface maps with programmers and creating consolidated data views that joined NetSuite transactional data with Odyssey data to support analytics. Deployment architecture moved the environment to a hosted cloud model, including a planned migration from in house servers to a Rackspace hosted service and a coordinated move to Office 365 for mail. The program also provisioned Tableau Online and Tableau Desktop through a grant to support reporting for Food Bank members and National Office staff, and the ERP operated alongside an implemented CRM platform under centralized governance. Governance and rollout emphasized cross functional coordination, with Technology meeting Finance, Philanthropy, Supply Chain and Analytics to produce project charters, requirements and project plans, and to deliver training documentation and webinars for hosted network members and national staff. CRM governance included a steering committee and user groups, and process automation efforts targeted duplicate entry and interface consistency between Donor Direct and the national ERP system. Documented outcomes tied to the program included reduced server maintenance costs after the Rackspace migration, a 50 percent reduction in duplicate data entry between Donor Direct and the national ERP, a Purchasing Portal pricing change that generated more than $4M in orders over four weeks, and a 40 percent reduction in member input time for quarterly reporting, the Network Activity Report implementation received an award.
