Operational coverage for PlantPredict was focused on First Solar’s U.S. utility-scale business, with usage by project engineering, development and finance teams to inform design, underwriting and long-term performance assumptions. The platform operated as an internal prediction engine that was publicly launched while under First Solar ownership, and it remained the company’s bankable forecasting tool prior to acquisition by Terabase Energy. Governance emphasis for the Terabase PlantPredict implementation included model validation and verification processes to satisfy bankable reporting requirements and to align engineering outputs with financing needs.
