In 2018, FLEETCOR implemented Oracle Revenue Management Cloud as part of a broader Oracle ERP Cloud Financials and Revenue Management rollout. The Oracle Revenue Management Cloud deployment targeted Revenue Cycle Management workflows supporting FLEETCORs commercial and secured payment solutions for fuel, toll, lodging and payables processing.
The implementation encompassed master data and transactional data migration, creation of File Based Data Import (FBDI) templates for AutoInvoice, Revenue Basis and billing data, and setup of ESS jobs and job sets to automate new end to end processes. Security profiles and custom roles were defined to align with SOX compliance and business access requirements, while Cloud BI Publisher and OTBI reporting were developed and scheduled to serve financial and revenue management subject areas. Pages were personalized using the Oracle ERP Cloud Page Composer utility and instance setup data was exported and imported across environments to accelerate configuration reuse.
The architecture operated in a coexistence model with Oracle EBS R12 alongside Oracle ERP Cloud R13, with integrations ingesting transactional files from third party systems via FBDI. The technical stack included FMW 12c, JDeveloper 12c, SQL, PL SQL and Java, and the project included testing of Oracle ERP Cloud bug fixes and quarterly patches as well as engagement with Oracle Support on application issues.
Governance and delivery followed Agile SCRUM, with daily standup calls to coordinate offshore teams and weekly status calls for project stakeholders. Functional, technical and fit gap documentation was produced using BRD templates, change request calls informed design updates, and the team supported month end operational activities while maintaining coexistence with on premise ERP projects.
