In 2015, Focus Entertainment deployed Kyriba Treasury to centralize and professionalize group cash and risk management. Kyriba Treasury was implemented as the company level Treasury Management platform to support treasury operations led by the Deputy CFO, covering bank relations, credit line management and FX risk oversight across the corporate group.
Configuration emphasized cash management and multi year cash flow planning, cash positioning and forecasting, FX hedging workflows, payment orchestration and treasury reporting. The deployment supported operational treasury capabilities including oversight of credit lines valued at €80M and the formalization of hedging processes, aligning system workflows with the companys financial planning cadence.
The Kyriba Treasury implementation integrated with accounting and financial control processes across Focus Entertainment and its three operating subsidiaries in Germany and France, enabling consolidated reporting to the Management team and the Supervisory Board. The solution was used to instrument management reporting and to support M&A activity where the finance team participated in three completed deals, while the treasury system became the operational backbone for intercompany cash and bank connectivity.
Governance and process changes accompanied the rollout, with new accounting procedures and treasury controls that shortened the close cycle by half and centralized reporting and approval workflows. The program of controls and reporting supported tax and commercial workstreams that delivered approximately €1M in tax related savings, improved collection practices contributing to 20 percent commercial growth outcomes, and sustained executive level financial planning through a five year strategic plan.
