In 2025, Forsight implemented FiftyOne Teams as a centralized dataset management system for safety & security computer vision workflows in the United States. The deployment serves as AI infrastructure for Forsight's visual data pipeline, ingesting and managing approximately 1.5 TB of visual data daily across edge capture and cloud storage.
FiftyOne Teams was configured to support dataset curation, annotation quality assurance, and model analysis, with dataset versioning, metadata tagging, and interactive visual inspection used to standardize QA workflows. Functional capabilities implemented include centralized dataset management, annotation QA workflows, and model evaluation dashboards integrated into the training lifecycle.
The implementation integrates with AWS, CVAT, PyTorch, and ClearML to orchestrate annotation handoffs, automated QA checks, and model training analysis across edge and cloud training pipelines. These integrations are used to stage and serve data on AWS, coordinate annotation exchange with CVAT, capture training artifacts and experiment metadata with ClearML, and run model analysis on PyTorch artifacts.
Operational scope covers Forsight's safety and security engineering and data science functions within the United States, aligning dataset stewardship and annotation QA with model development and edge deployment workflows. Governance and process changes included centralizing access controls and standardizing QA review processes inside FiftyOne Teams to improve cross functional visibility between edge operators and engineers. Forsight reports the deployment handles roughly 1.5 TB daily and saves roughly half an engineer's time on dataset and annotation tasks.
