| CAI Software | Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise | CAI Seasoft ERP | Food and Beverage ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015 Fortune Fish & Gourmet migrated from Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise to CAI Seasoft ERP, deploying a Food and Beverage ERP to support high volume cold chain distribution. The implementation was scoped to support processing of more than 800 invoices per day, and to centralize order-to-production visibility so sales orders entered on the front end were visible to production and inventory control in real time.
CAI Seasoft ERP was configured to deliver core Food and Beverage ERP capabilities including sales order processing, production control, inventory control, lot and supplier traceability, and order fulfillment workflow management. The company reported that traceability for tuna and steak products moved "from zero to 60 overnight," reflecting rapid activation of product tracking modules and traceability record capture within the CAI Seasoft ERP environment.
The rollout approach used a dedicated Seasoft consultant working closely with Fortune key users to map and address business process requirements, complete configuration, and execute a go-live over a single weekend. The consultant-led deployment enabled the new software to be operational immediately, and all of Fortune's delivery trucks were out making deliveries first thing Monday morning after go-live.
Operational outcomes reported by Fortune include markedly faster order processing speed and increased production throughput, with frontline users and production staff receiving immediate order visibility. The CAI Seasoft ERP implementation thus aligned Food and Beverage ERP functional modules with distribution and production operations, and established governance through focused vendor consultancy and collaborative user engagement.
