In 2018, Fossil Group planned a consolidation of global ERP systems and initiated an SAP S/4 HANA migration. The implementation targeted SAP S/4 HANA as the ERP Financial platform to centralize core finance processes and establish a consistent chart of accounts across international operations. Planning work was focused on aligning the business case and sequencing technical workstreams for a global rollout.
Configuration planning emphasized financial modules common to ERP Financial deployments, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and period close orchestration. The architecture workstreams explored a centralized S/4 HANA footprint with harmonized master data and standardized financial posting rules, alongside scope definition for regional localization and tax compliance. Data harmonization and master data consolidation were prioritized to reduce reconciliation complexity during cutover.
Governance planning covered program level controls, an incremental migration roadmap, validation and testing strategies, and cutover sequencing to support concurrent accounting periods. Process standardization efforts targeted common chart of accounts, intercompany accounting workflows, and unified financial close procedures to enable consistent reporting and control. The engagement was positioned as planning assistance for consolidation and SAP S/4 HANA migration rather than the execution of integration or rollout activities.

In 2014, Fossil Group implemented Infinite BrassRing ( Formerly IBM Kenexa BrassRing ) as its Applicant Tracking System to manage job postings and candidate intake. The deployment surfaces on Fossil Group's public careers site, where Infinite BrassRing ( Formerly IBM Kenexa BrassRing ) handles job requisition publishing and candidate application capture for the company recruiting function.
The implementation leverages core Applicant Tracking System capabilities such as requisition management, candidate tracking, configurable application forms, and workflow automation for screening and interview scheduling. Configuration focused on career site integration and candidate lifecycle orchestration, aligning application intake with recruiting workflows and role based access controls for HR users.
Operational coverage centers on Talent Acquisition and corporate HR teams using the application to centralize hiring processes, enable structured approvals, and maintain a single applicant record across open roles. Governance practices emphasize workflow configuration and security controls typical for an Applicant Tracking System, with administrative configuration conducted by internal HR technology owners.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP Retail | Retail Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2011 | 2012 |
In 2011, Fossil Group implemented SAP Retail as an enterprise Retail Management application to consolidate store and merchandising processes. The SAP Retail deployment was positioned to provide a unified commerce backbone for Fossil Group by standardizing retail operations and supporting core retail functions.
Configuration work emphasized merchandising and assortment planning, inventory management and replenishment workflows, pricing and promotion engines, and point of sale transaction orchestration, reflecting standard Retail Management capabilities. Implementation choices favored configuration to centralize retail master data such as articles and assortments, and to support transaction flows between stores and central inventory.
SAP Retail was integrated into Fossil Group's broader SAP landscape, operating alongside SAP AFS infrastructure running on AIX, and subsequent IT planning included a migration path to SAP HANA for the SAP stack. Integration focused on synchronizing retail transactions with back office inventory and financial records to preserve end to end order to cash and inventory visibility across stores and distribution points.
Governance and rollout were driven by Fossil's IT architecture function which collected business requirements and developed extensions to the architecture where needed, while maintaining on premise SAP operations and evaluating cloud object stores and FinOps tooling. The implementation established an SAP centric operational model for merchandising and store operations and formalized retail process controls under central IT architecture oversight.
