Functional use included tracking sick pay availability and disbursements on a weekly basis, recording daily absence reports and documenting employee separations to support Employment Development Department verifications and unemployment responses. Operational staff populated employee information across Datatech Payroll, PetTiger and PAGO as part of the agricultural payroll office workflow, reflecting a multi-system data entry environment common in farm labor payroll operations. This approach tied new hire onboarding, daily absent sheets and quit reporting to payroll processing and HR recordkeeping performed by office clerks and payroll personnel. Governance and process controls emphasized clerical training and task assignment, the head registration clerk supervised and trained seven new clerks over eight months to standardize onboarding procedures. Datatech Payroll supported Fowler Packing HR and payroll functions through a weekly onboarding cadence, role based data entry responsibilities and daily reporting workflows to keep payroll records current.
