Operational coverage included finance, inventory, order entry, and customer management across three sites, with the system connecting previously disparate business applications into one integrated environment and streamlining order entry operations. The Acumatica Intercompany Accounting Module improved inventory visibility and the ability to locate products instantly across the three locations, while secure cloud access enabled employees to work from anywhere. The selection and rollout were driven by an internal evaluation process that screened 40 ERP candidates, narrowed to five, and finalized between Epicor and Acumatica, with CAL Business Solutions providing implementation services. CAL Business Solutions implemented the stated modules and supported configuration, testing, and go live activities to align the solution to Frederick Block Brick and Stone business processes. Stated outcomes included connected business applications, deeper access to financial data for better decision making, remote secure access for employees, substantially improved inventory visibility via intercompany capabilities, and a modern business platform that avoided expensive on-premise infrastructure costs.
