| Serrala | Legacy | Serrala FinanceSuite Accounts Payable | AP Automation | ERP | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016 Freeport LNG implemented Serrala FinanceSuite Accounts Payable as its AP Automation platform to manage accounts payable workflows at the Freeport Liquid Natural Gas Houston TX operation. The deployment identified Serrala FinanceSuite Accounts Payable as the central application for invoice intake, routing, approval orchestration and integration with upstream SAP financial posting.
The implementation included configuration of vendor invoice approval capabilities, specifically status and sub status controls, an active field table for invoice metadata, AP routing logic, individual approver registration and group approver registration, and miscellaneous configuration elements required for operational approval flows. Auto posting rules were defined to translate approved invoices into accounting entries.
Integration work focused on connecting the AP Automation layer to SAP for automated posting of invoices, leveraging Dolphin Process Tracking System practices and SAP-certified integration patterns to manage approval workflow state and handoff to SAP posting. Functional design and technical configuration were delivered to align Serrala FinanceSuite Accounts Payable workflows with SAP posting requirements and invoice lifecycle tracking.
Project governance followed a structured rollout, using workshops to capture functional requirements, translating those into a detailed functional design, and executing configuration and testing cycles. The program included user acceptance testing, hyper care after go-live, creation of test scripts, targeted training for AP users and approvers, knowledge transfer to business process owners, and production of custom documentation and training manuals.

In 2008, Freeport LNG implemented ExxTend Learning from OverNite to manage its Learning and Development program focused on safety and compliance at its Gulf Coast United States LNG facility. The deployment centralized training record-keeping and standardized competency tracking to support audit readiness across operational teams.
ExxTend Learning was configured to track both online eLearning and classroom-based instruction, maintaining attendance, course completion, and certification status. Module usage aligns with LNG-sector learning workflows, with safety curricula and operator qualification libraries inferred as primary content areas given the company emphasis on safety and compliance.
Operational coverage included training administration, compliance, and operations functions, with the system used to manage competencies and qualifications for front-line operators and maintenance staff. The implementation supported audit preparation and evidence retention for regulators and internal auditors, reinforcing procedural training workflows and expiry management for certifications.
Governance centered on centralized training record ownership, formalized scheduling for instructor-led sessions, and competency management processes to ensure role-based qualification enforcement. The rollout improved training record-keeping and operational efficiency, outcomes explicitly noted in the implementation context.

| Baker Hughes | Legacy | ARMS Reliability OnePM | Asset Performance Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, Freeport LNG implemented ARMS Reliability OnePM to address Asset Performance Management needs. The engagement began in April 2015 and extended through October 2019, with a consultant retained for software implementation and data governance activities based in Houston, Texas.
The ARMS Reliability OnePM deployment was configured to support core APM capabilities, including asset master management, preventive and corrective work management, and reliability analytics and reporting. Configuration emphasized alignment of master data and maintenance planning workflows with plant reliability practices, and the application name ARMS Reliability OnePM was used as the central operational APM system.
Integrations were established with existing enterprise systems, specifically SAP PM and SAP MDG for asset master and work order synchronization, GE MERIDIUM APM for condition monitoring data exchange, and Intergraph Fusion for asset spatial and engineering context. Data exchange patterns focused on synchronizing asset hierarchies, work order lifecycle status, and condition inputs to enable consolidated reliability analytics within the Asset Performance Management environment.
Governance and rollout combined data governance controls and process rework for maintenance and reliability engineering teams, with the consultant supporting data model standardization and phased adoption across Houston operations. The implementation narrative centers on ARMS Reliability OnePM as the operational APM platform integrated with SAP PM, SAP MDG, GE MERIDIUM APM, and Intergraph Fusion, supported by multiyear implementation and governance oversight.
