In 2018, Frisbie Memorial Hospital implemented Infor Lawson HCM as its Core HR system. Following HCA acquisition effective March 1, 2020, Frisbie led and partnered with the HCA Capital Division HR Acquisition Team to execute an operational transition plan that included system implementations of Infor Lawson HCM, Kronos, and PLUS to monitor FTE and FPC staffing ratios.
Infor Lawson HCM was configured to centralize core HR records, support talent management workflows, and provide staffing and workforce metrics consistent with Core HR functional patterns. The implementation integrated Lawson with Kronos for time and attendance and with PLUS for staffing ratio monitoring, enabling reconciliation of scheduled hours and FTE and FPC calculations. Project management facilitated remote WebEx training for executive and leadership director teams when COVID-19 cases spiked in mid March, adapting operational training and cutover activities to virtual delivery.
HR governance and workflow redesign accompanied the technical rollout, embedding progressive coaching and a Standards of Behavior program into Lawson-driven HR case management and compliance tracking. Frisbie HR leadership advised and investigated employee relations cases, coached leaders and employees on new progressive coaching protocols, and rolled out Code of Conduct training to operationalize ethics and compliance within the Infor Lawson HCM environment. Operational ownership for the transition was held jointly by the HCA Capital Division HR Acquisition Team and Frisbie HR leadership, covering executive, leadership, and frontline staffing oversight across the hospital.
