In 2023, Bel implemented SAP S/4 HANA as part of a formal SAP migration program, explicitly tied to a migration from ECC to S/4 Hana and scoped to finance operations within an ERP Financial footprint. The initiative is positioned alongside enterprise performance management activities and targets finance process consolidation across the Group.
The implementation work centers on SAP BPC and the BFC consolidation application, with functional responsibility assigned to a Product Owner EPM reporting into the Capability Manager Finance. Configured capabilities include group reporting cycles, budget planning, forecasting, and maintenance of the Group SAP BPC tool, with the Product Owner accountable for both functional and technical stewardship of BPC and oversight of BFC application support.
Integrations and operational coordination extend to the Analytics stack, specifically BW, QlikView, and PowerBI, and to Finance transactional modules such as SAP FICO, together with collaboration with Global Technical Services teams for infra, ops, network, and security. The operational scope documented for EPM support covers roughly 30 subsidiaries with more than 350 BPC users, while the BFC consolidation layer supports the same 30 subsidiaries with a small consolidation user group.
Governance and rollout responsibilities are organized inside Bel’s IT Department, with the EPM Product Owner executing project management, TMA oversight for BFC, support coordination with functional consultants, user training, and documentation. The role explicitly manages impacts arising from the ECC to SAP S/4 HANA migration, aligning EPM processes, calendars, and control workflows to the ERP Financial environment.

In 2016 Bel implemented SAP SuccessFactors Compensation as part of a groupwide SuccessFactors deployment covering 34 countries and more than 12,000 employees, deploying a Compensation Management solution to centralize global salary and incentive processes. The deployment of SAP SuccessFactors Compensation was executed alongside a broader HRIS program that included Core RH Employee Central, Performance, Goals, Recruitment, People Review, Calibration, Succession, Time Off and Analytics.
The SAP SuccessFactors Compensation implementation focused on configuration and operationalization of compensation and benefits workflows, including the deployment of individual salary increase campaigns at a world scope for executives, managers, TAM and expatriates. The program also supported campaign management for managers objectives and the configuration of calibration and people review processes, with ongoing module support, continuous improvement and local optimization in France using SAP HR tools.
Integrations and data flows were centered on Core RH Employee Central as the authoritative HR data source, with explicit responsibility for integration and maintenance of employee data between Employee Central and SuccessFactors Compensation. Group reporting workstreams defined HR data reliability criteria for annual reporting and constructed HR key performance indicators, and a payroll study was produced to align compensation outputs with payroll processes.
Governance activity included training of HR users across rollouts, support for audits and data reliability, and formalization of new HR processes to sustain the Compensation Management program. Operational ownership remained with in-house HRIS and HR teams who managed deployment, support and incremental improvements to SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and adjacent SuccessFactors modules.

In 2017, Bel implemented Adobe Connect, deploying Adobe Connect as its Audio Video and Web Conferencing platform and exposing conferencing capability through the corporate website. The deployment emphasizes the Adobe Connect application for live online meetings and event delivery on groupe-bel.com, positioning the platform for external audience engagement as well as internal meeting activity.
Configuration work focused on standard Adobe Connect functional modules such as persistent virtual meeting rooms, webinar staging, content pods for slides and video, screen sharing, session recording, attendee management, polling, and Q and A. These modules were provisioned to support scheduled events and on demand sessions, with typical conferencing controls and role based presenter and host privileges configured for event producers and moderators.
Operational coverage centers on embedding Adobe Connect sessions into the corporate web presence, enabling public facing webinars and controlled access links for invited audiences. The implementation scope aligns with common Audio Video and Web Conferencing workflows for corporate communications, marketing events, and employee training, using web embedding and event scheduling to present live content to both external and internal attendees.
Governance and workflow adjustments included formalizing scheduling and content publishing processes, standardizing host and presenter roles, and applying access controls for session recordings and archived content. Administration practices reflect typical conferencing governance, with content lifecycle procedures for recorded sessions and role based permissions to manage meeting rooms and participant controls.
