In 2015 GarudaFood implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its ERP Financial platform to consolidate finance and accounting workflows across the business. The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 deployment established a central SAP FICO-led financial layer supporting corporate finance, treasury, accounting and manufacturing cost reporting.
The implementation configured SAP FICO with material ledger capabilities and implemented CO-PA profitability analysis for manufacturing, alongside integrated reporting using SAP BW and planning with SAP BPC. Functional modules implemented and tightly configured with FICO included PP, MM, SD, QM and PM, and custom ABAP-based reporting and Report Painter artifacts were used to support month end and statutory closing tasks.
Integrations included bi-directional transactional flows from production planning and materials management into financial postings, interfaces to third party systems for specialized functionality, and data feeds into SAP BW for consolidated reporting. Operational coverage extended across finance, treasury, procurement, production planning and sales operations, with application support and key user activity anchored at GarudaFood locations including Jakarta Selatan.
Governance emphasized standardized monthly and yearly closing workflows, daily and monthly loan and treasury support processes, and CO-PA driven manufacturing profitability controls. Change control for financial configuration and planning models was enforced through SAP BPC and BW reporting governance, with finance process owners responsible for close orchestration and periodic reconciliation.

In 2013 GarudaFood implemented OrangeHRM as its Core HR application within a consolidated, virtualized datacentre architecture built on VMware vSphere. The OrangeHRM deployment centralized HR application hosting for the GarudaFood Group and was positioned to support HR services across the company’s 12 manufacturing locations and distributed offices in Indonesia.
The technical architecture placed OrangeHRM on a fully virtualized platform that included three clustered environments for development, ERP and production, running over 200 virtual machines on 18 Cisco UCS B-Series blade servers with EMC VNX unified storage and EMC Data Domain for protection. Functional configuration emphasized core HR service delivery, with OrangeHRM virtualized alongside other mission critical applications such as SAP ERP, SAP BW, JDA, TM1 and Microsoft application servers to enable consistent provisioning and lifecycle management.
Integrations and operational coverage were achieved by co-hosting OrangeHRM within the same virtual infrastructure that standardized identity and application hosting, leveraging Active Directory and centralized application management tools to support users across geographically dispersed sites. Operational control was centralized in the Jakarta head office, where a virtualization-first policy enabled rapid provisioning of compute resources and simplified desktop management through a VDI pilot using VMware Horizon View and Dell Wyse zero clients.
Governance and rollout followed a consolidation strategy that moved applications into a single datacentre and enforced a virtualization-first review for new systems, reducing operational complexity. The program delivered explicitly stated benefits including improved responsiveness to business units, 100 percent datacentre virtualization, a 75 percent reduction in datacentre manpower requirement, a two-thirds reduction in physical infrastructure and a three-fold expansion of business applications supported on the virtual platform.

In 2015 GarudaFood implemented SAP Crystal Reports as its selected reporting engine within the Analytics and BI category. SAP Crystal Reports was positioned to centralize operational and financial reporting across promotion budget control and freight calculation workflows.
The implementation focused on report design, parameterized reporting, and embedding report output into application interfaces. SAP Crystal Reports produced formatted operational reports and forms that were integrated into the company’s promotion application and expedition application, supporting budgeting and logistics use cases.
Data connectivity used Microsoft SQL Server as the primary data source, with reports surfaced through ASP.NET and Visual Basic application layers described in the environment. System Development Analysts at GarudaFood retained ownership for building and maintaining report templates, data connections, and application-level report integration.
Governance and operational coverage concentrated on finance and supply chain functions where promotion budget control and freight calculations required repeatable, auditable reporting. SAP Crystal Reports served as the Analytics and BI reporting component within that application stack, with in-house application support and report lifecycle management handled by the internal development and support team.
