In 2022 Gat Creek engaged the Threekit Platform to add 3D configuration, augmented reality, and virtual photography capabilities to its Magento based ecommerce site for U.S. customers, extending the showroom experience online. The Threekit Platform was implemented as a 3D Modeling solution embedded into product detail and configure to order flows to surface interactive visualizations and rendered assets directly in the storefront.
The implementation included a front end 3D configuration engine integrated into Magento product pages, an AR viewer for mobile web visualization, and virtual photography rendering to produce marketing images and merchandising assets. Functional capabilities deployed align with 3D Modeling workflows, including interactive product configuration, real time visualization, and asset rendering for product catalogs and PDPs.
IronPlane acted as the systems integrator and managed the integration with Gat Creek's Magento ecommerce stack and the rollout to U.S. online sales channels, covering commerce, merchandising, and customer facing sales functions. The integration approach prioritized embedding interactive visuals into existing checkout and product presentation flows to replicate showroom interactions on the website.
The upgrade delivered rapid commercial impact, within seven weeks Gat Creek reported a 134% increase in online average order value and a 35% increase in conversion rate, and IronPlane is credited as the systems integrator in the source. The deployment demonstrates Threekit Platform, a 3D Modeling application, driving online merchandising and ecommerce configuration workflows for a mid market furniture manufacturer.
