In 2013, Gemalto implemented Oracle iExpense. Gemalto deployed Oracle iExpense as its Expense Management solution to support corporate finance and expense reporting workflows across the organization.
Oracle iExpense was configured to deliver core expense management capabilities including structured expense report creation, automated approval routing, and policy validation and enforcement. The Oracle iExpense implementation emphasized configuration of approval hierarchies, configurable expense types, and audit trails to align with existing finance controls.
The Oracle iExpense deployment was integrated with Oracle iProcurement and Oracle Time and Labor to align procurement transactions and labor data with expense reconciliation. End user documentation and supporting content were hosted on SharePoint 2010, and training and simulations were delivered via Citrix GoToMeeting and Lync 2010.
Project deliverables included application simulations, step by step user guides, and instructional videos, and comprehensive end user training for Gemalto employees. Governance focused on documented workflows and role based access controls reinforced by the training program to standardize expense submission and approval processes.
