The deployment aligned invoice processing controls with periodic reviews of open payables and outstanding checks, and supported manual entry exceptions and research workflows used to resolve processing issues.
Operational integrations and handoffs were explicit, with staff responsibilities including manual timesheet entry in Deltek Vision and periodic upload and reconciliation of travel and reprographic costs into the accounts payable cycle. The implementation affected accounting, accounts payable, travel expense administration, procurement and finance functions, and required coordination to handle vendor and consultant communications, audit requests, and vendor profile setup in the Coupa Supplier Portal.

Gensler architects used sentiment analysis and text mining capabilities in the Lexalytics Intelligence Platform to mine omnichannel social media data from dozens of America’s airports, finding signal in noisy customer feedback. Despite having no previous analytics experience, architects operated the platform directly to generate thematic insight and a deeper, data-driven understanding of what travelers actually experienced in airports.
The implementation covered research workflows across the studio and informed planning and design business functions within airport projects, with findings disseminated firmwide under the research grant. Operational emphasis was on social listening, sentiment analytics, and text extraction to convert unstructured public feedback into actionable design intelligence.
