| Brown Brothers Harriman | Legacy | BBH Liquidity Management Tool (LMT) | Asset and Wealth Management | Investment Management | n/a | 2024 | 2024 |
In 2024 Global X ETFs implemented BBH Liquidity Management Tool (LMT) from Brown Brothers Harriman. The BBH Liquidity Management Tool (LMT) was provisioned to support fund liquidity decisioning, investor flows and STP instruction flows, aligning with Asset and Wealth Management use cases for fund operations finance in the United States.
Module usage as implemented encompassed liquidity decisioning, investor flow capture and straight through processing instruction orchestration. Configuration work focused on fund level liquidity rules, cash forecasting and rule based instruction generation to support operational workflows within fund operations, reflecting standard Asset and Wealth Management functional terminology.
As a documented Brown Brothers Harriman transfer agent and custody client, Global X integrated the BBH Liquidity Management Tool into BBH Transfer Agency and custody operational touchpoints to enable automated STP instruction flows. BBH made LMT available to Transfer Agency clients in 2024, so the implementation is estimated to have started and gone live in 2024, with operational coverage centered on fund operations teams in the United States and governance adjustments to embed LMT into daily liquidity decisioning and investor instruction procedures.
