In 2020, Globalland Property Management implemented Acumatica ERP Cloud Construction Edition as its Construction ERP to consolidate financial and project accounting for its real estate and construction portfolio. The initial scope focused on accounting and project-level financial reporting across the Philippines, reflecting a multi-site footprint with accounting staff responsible for roughly 18 to 21 project sites each and an overall project universe of 159 sites.
The deployment emphasized core financial management and construction accounting capabilities, including general ledger, job cost tracking, project accounting, and financial statement generation. Acumatica ERP Cloud Construction Edition was configured to support bookkeeping workflows, preparation of audited financial statements, and statutory tax compliance activities tied to BIR obligations.
Deployment workstreams included a dedicated migration taskforce that transferred historical financial data beginning 2018 into Acumatica for an initial cohort of projects, with uploads completed for 15 of 159 project sites and migrated data reviews performed for 22 of 159 project sites. Validation controls were applied by accounting staff to reconcile Acumatica-generated financial statements to audited financials, and adjustments were posted within the system where discrepancies were identified.
Operational governance centered on accounting and operations management, with property accountants operating the system day to day and performing month end and statutory reporting tasks. The rollout proceeded in phases across project sites, using targeted data upload and reconciliation cycles, and incorporated on-the-job configuration and transactional adjustments to stabilize accounting outputs within the new Construction ERP environment.
