In 2013, GODIVA implemented SAP Business Suite to support core ERP Financial operations. The engagement focused on establishing a stabilized enterprise ERP landscape through deployment of SAP Business Suite and associated technical IT infrastructure for the company ERP team.
SAP Business Suite was configured to support standard ERP Financial workflows, including general ledger processing, accounts payable and receivable flows, and financial reporting orchestration, aligned with corporate accounting processes. Technical workstreams centered on SAP Basis administration, system parameterization, transport management and technical monitoring to maintain system availability.
Project delivery included PM'ed and provided technical IT infrastructure support for GODIVA’s ERP team, serving as GODIVA’s interim basis manager, processing and resolving ERP related IT trouble tickets, and managing the deployment of SAP ERP software. Operational coverage included North America HRIS subject matter expertise and a global compliance remit across ten countries, with governance led by GODIVAs Global HR Compliance Lead to ensure legal and policy adherence and to maintain vendor contract terms. During the 2019 to 2021 period, HRIS teams supported Workday Recruiting optimizations that reduced time to hire by 25% and managed LMS implementations and a large reorganization, with Sterling Background Check embedded as the screening layer within those HR processes.
