Valsoft Corporation Legacy Valsoft AIM Vision Automotive ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 1997 1997
In 1997, Grant Industries implemented Valsoft AIM Vision. The deployment used AIM Vision's Windows based product and was rolled out across The Grant Group including Grant Industries, Press-Way and Eagle Assemblies under the Automotive ERP category. Valsoft AIM Vision centralized core functional modules including integrated EDI, MRP/CRP, container movement MES and capacity requirements planning to automate scheduling, traceability and shipping workflows. The configuration emphasized production scheduling and capacity planning, with MRP and CRP routines driving order release and material requirements logic. Container movement was implemented as a manufacturing execution type capability to improve shop floor traceability and shipping staging. Integrations focused on OEM EDI and barcode compliance, enabling automated EDI transaction flows and barcode enabled traceability between production and shipping operations. Operational coverage targeted scheduling teams, production control and shipping departments across the Michigan based supplier network in the Grant Group. Valsoft AIM Vision supported supplier scorecard objectives by producing the compliance and traceability data required for OEM reporting. The AIM Vision rollout in 1997 migrated the business to AIM's Windows based product and included governance changes to scheduling processes and data capture at shipping gates. Outcomes reported included improved scheduling efficiency, a reduction in headcount on scheduling tasks, and maintenance of OEM EDI and barcode compliance that supported supplier scorecard outcomes.
