IFS Legacy IFS Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Plant Maintenance ERP Services and Operations n/a 2005 2006
In 2005 Green Bus implemented IFS Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul as its core Plant Maintenance solution to support fleet maintenance, repair and overhaul operations across its passenger, parcel delivery and charter businesses. The deployment targeted operational control of bus assets and parts management, aligning maintenance planning with the companys broader service coverage in Thailand and the ASEAN Economic Community region. The IFS Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul implementation included standard Plant Maintenance capabilities such as an enterprise asset registry, preventive maintenance scheduling, work order lifecycle management, spare parts and inventory control, and technical document management. Configuration focused on asset hierarchies for vehicles and subsystems, maintenance job definitions and routing, and scheduled maintenance plans to drive repeatable MRO workflows. The solution was integrated with Green Bus installed solutions including an ERP accounting system, supply chain system, procurement system, warehouse warehouse system and a document management system to synchronize asset records, parts inventory and procurement requisitions. These integrations supported data continuity between maintenance operations, parts replenishment and financial systems, enabling maintenance teams, parts warehouses and procurement to operate from a shared set of master data. Governance centered on formalizing maintenance planning and work order approval processes across maintenance and fleet operations, standardizing maintenance documentation, and embedding technical records within the document management system for compliance and traceability. The implementation positioned IFS Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul as the authoritative Plant Maintenance system for Green Bus business functions responsible for fleet reliability and parts management.
