| IFS | Legacy | IFS Document Management (DocMan) | Document Management | Content Management | n/a | 2005 | 2006 | In 2005, Green Bus implemented IFS Document Management (DocMan) to support its passenger transportation, parcel delivery and charter service operations across Thailand and the ASEAN Economic Community. IFS Document Management (DocMan) was deployed as the company Document Management component alongside an installed suite that includes ERP accounting, supply chain, procurement, warehouse management, and maintenance management systems. The implementation emphasized core Document Management capabilities including a centralized document repository, version control, metadata indexing, search and retrieval, and role based access controls. Configuration targeted transportation specific document classes such as vehicle records, maintenance logs, route manifests, and parcel consignment documentation to enable document lifecycle management, audit traceability, and structured approvals. Deployment followed a centralized repository architecture accessible from Green Bus sites across Thailand and the AEC region, supporting departmental use in operations, maintenance, finance, procurement, and warehouse functions. Integration touchpoints were structured to align document flows with the company ERP accounting system, supply chain system, procurement system, warehouse management system, and maintenance management system so documents could be associated with transactional and operational records. Governance changes introduced centralized access policies, document retention rules, and workflow approvals for maintenance and procurement processes, with role based approval chains reflecting operational responsibilities. The IFS Document Management (DocMan) configuration prioritized auditability and record retention to support regulatory oversight and operational control. |
