| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics GP | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2004 | 2004 |
In 2004 Greenergy implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP as its ERP Financial application. The deployment concentrated on core finance operations, bringing Microsoft Dynamics GP into the sales ledger and billing workflows that supported order-to-cash activities across the finance organization.
Configuration and functional coverage prioritized accounts receivable, billing automation, sales ledger processing and credit control, with financial reporting and general ledger posting handled within Microsoft Dynamics GP. Workflow automation supported invoice generation, payment allocation and credit enforcement as part of day-to-day credit risk and collections operations.
Operational scope spanned finance, sales ledger and credit risk teams within Greenergy in the United Kingdom, reflecting use by billing analysts and credit risk analysts who managed transactional processing and reconciliations. The implementation focused on transactional financial controls and reporting rather than nonfinancial enterprise modules.
Internal experience indicates staff with operational familiarity in Microsoft Dynamics GP leveraged that expertise into support roles as Greenergy signaled a move toward an ERP system provided by Oracle. A billing analyst who spent three years in the sales ledger and later worked as a credit risk analyst used Microsoft Dynamics GP knowledge in a support capacity during the subsequent transition period.

In 2016 Greenergy implemented ADP Workforce Now Benefits for Benefits Administration. The ADP Workforce Now Benefits deployment centralized employee benefits enrollment and administration within Greenergy's HR platform, aligning benefits workflows with the companys national and international payroll processes administered from London.
The implementation used standard Benefits Administration capabilities including benefits enrollment, eligibility management, life event processing, carrier and plan configuration, employee self service for elections, and benefits reporting for compliance and payroll feeds. ADP Workforce Now Benefits was configured to support role-based access for HR and benefits administrators and to automate enrollment workflows and event-driven adjustments tied to hire and termination processes.
Operational coverage extended across Human Resources, Payroll, Finance and Learning functions, with day to day benefits administration coordinated by the in-house HR and Benefits and Payroll Administrator. The benefits environment integrated with Greenergys ADP payroll processes for deduction calculation and payroll posting, and explicit integrations included Oracle for financial administration tasks such as invoices and requisitions, and Kallidus for learning and development records support.
Governance responsibilities were defined around benefits ownership, onboarding to retirement lifecycle management, and related registers including the gift register and conflicts of interest register. Routine cadence for administration included weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting and ongoing maintenance of employee records, timesheets, recruitment administration, expenses and L&D linkage to ensure benefits data accuracy and operational controls.

In 2018 Greenergy implemented Oracle Analytics Cloud as a core component of a programme-managed ERP Cloud Adoption Programme, positioning Oracle Analytics Cloud within its Analytics and BI stack to centralize finance reporting and enterprise planning. The initiative combined SaaS Oracle Fusion with PaaS components to create a cloud-first architecture for reporting, consolidation, planning and integrations.
The implementation envelope included Oracle Planning (EPBCS) for planning workflows, Oracle Consolidation (FCCS) for financial close and consolidation, and Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud (EDMCS) for master data orchestration. Oracle Analytics Cloud was configured alongside Oracle Integration Cloud to expose analytic models and dashboards, and Oracle Middleware using SOA and OSB was project managed to support service orchestration and data transformation. A billing automation system was also project managed as part of the broader Oracle BI and ERP program to streamline revenue and billing reporting flows.
Operational scope covered the United Kingdom and Netherlands as the initial rollout and governance locus, with rollout in progress for Canada, USA, Singapore, Middle East and Asia to extend reporting and planning coverage. Integrations were organized through Oracle Integration Cloud and middleware layers to connect Oracle Fusion ERP, consolidation, planning engines and the billing automation stream, supporting finance and transactional data flows into Oracle Analytics Cloud for enterprise reporting.
Governance was delivered via a programme management model that project managed Oracle ERP, Oracle Middleware and Oracle BI projects, with ongoing day to day management of the BAU team responsible for Finance, Integrations and Reporting systems. The program emphasis was on centralized control of configuration, data management and release coordination to sustain analytic content in Oracle Analytics Cloud while enabling phased regional rollouts.
