In 2017, Greggs implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial platform, migrating from SAP ERP ECC 6.0. The SAP S/4 HANA rollout was executed with integrator Keytree and targeted 1,500 stores plus regional management teams as part of the companys bakery digital transformation program.
The implementation focused on core ERP Financial capabilities typical of SAP S/4 HANA, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and consolidated financial reporting to support retail finance operations. Configuration work emphasized retail-aligned financial master data, period close automation and process controls to standardize accounting and reporting across shop and regional operations.
S/4 HANA was integrated into Greggs existing retail stack, building on a prior SAP IS-Retail deployment from 2015 that addressed stock forecasting and replenishment and introduced a redesigned shop UI with staff training for 16,000 employees. Keytree provided integration and rollout services, coordinating the technical cutover, shop-level UI alignment and regional management onboarding to align financial processes with store forecasting and replenishment workflows.

TribePad ATS was configured with standard Applicant Tracking System capabilities, including job posting and vacancy templates, structured application forms, candidate profile and pipeline management, status workflows, and automated applicant communications. Configuration focused on vacancy lifecycle controls, role based access for recruiters and hiring managers, and configurable screening fields to align with Greggs recruitment workflows.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle OBIEE | Analytics and BI | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2011 | 2011 |
In 2011 Greggs implemented Oracle OBIEE as a centralized enterprise reporting platform to consolidate analytical reporting across retail and corporate functions, using the Oracle OBIEE application within its Analytics and BI strategy. The deployment targeted consolidated visibility for store operations, finance, supply chain, merchandising and executive reporting, positioning Oracle OBIEE as the primary enterprise BI layer.
Implementation centered on standard Oracle OBIEE components, including a semantic repository and subject area modeling, BI server driven dashboards, interactive analysis, and scheduled report distribution. The configuration emphasized reusable business models, role based presentation catalogs, and centralized metadata management to ensure consistent metrics and reporting taxonomies across business functions.
Operational integration was delivered through ETL populated data marts and an enterprise data warehouse feeding the Oracle OBIEE semantic layer, with source feeds covering point of sale, financial ledgers, inventory and supply chain systems. The rollout covered both store level and corporate reporting consumers, enabling drill down from enterprise dashboards to operational level reports and scheduled deliveries to stakeholder groups.
Governance established a centralized BI governance model and access control tied to corporate authentication, with phased functional rollouts and a focus on metadata stewardship, report lifecycle controls and user training workflows. The configuration and governance choices were aligned to support repeatable reporting, consistent subject areas, and controlled change management for the Oracle OBIEE environment.
