Sage Legacy Sage Business Cloud X3 (ex Sage ERP X3) ERP Financial ERP n/a 2018 2019
In 2018, Gregory Distribution began a program to implement Sage Business Cloud X3 (ex Sage ERP X3) as its core ERP Financial system for group finance. The initiative targeted consolidation of financial processes across the holding company and multiple trading companies, aligning ERP configuration with planned acquisition integration workstreams. Sage Business Cloud X3 was configured to deliver core financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset management and financial consolidation, supporting statutory reporting and management reporting workflows. Configuration included intercompany accounting and accounting automation to centralize month end close and standardize the chart of accounts across the group. Operational coverage extended to the group finance function, the finance teams of individual trading companies and acquisition integration programs, notably supporting the integration of ARR Craib and the subsequent migration of Pollock into group processes. Integrations focused on banking and asset finance facility interfaces to support cash management and reconciliation of banking relationships, while preserving finance business partnering and board reporting flows. Governance and program leadership was driven by the Group Finance Director who served as executive sponsor overseeing the implementation during 2019, embedding best practice financial governance and control. The deployment supported improved efficiency of the finance team and higher quality management information as acquired businesses migrated onto standardized systems and processes.

MHR (formerly MidlandHR) Legacy MHR iTrent Talent Management Talent Management HCM n/a 2010 2014
In 2010, Gregory Distribution implemented MHR iTrent Talent Management. The deployment covered a UK transport and storage operator with a workforce of approximately 2000 and delivery operations serving over 400 customers regionally, nationally and internationally, and implementation accountability reported to the General Manager responsible for delivering a range of projects. Configuration work centered on core Talent Management capabilities consistent with the category, including performance management, recruitment workflows, learning and talent lifecycle orchestration. MHR iTrent Talent Management was configured with tailored workflows and site level KPI alignment, reflecting a full review and updating of site KPI process and presentation, and process mapping informed system role definitions and administrative task automation across HR and transport administration functions. Integrations were explicitly mapped into operational IT, including the integration of MHR iTrent and Open Options IT systems into GDL operation to ensure data flows between talent records and operational systems. The program ran alongside operational technology workstreams, notably a TomTom telematics assessment and installation project, and process mapping of transport desk and administrative functions was used to align day to day operations with the Talent Management deployment. Governance routed delivery through the General Manager and leveraged detailed process mapping to restructure workflows, clarify responsibilities, and establish HR and transport desk handoffs. Rollout emphasized cross functional coordination between HR, transport operations, and site management to operationalize talent processes and embed the MHR iTrent Talent Management configuration into Gregory Distribution operations.
