| PayFacto Payments | Legacy | PayFacto | Payment Processing | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2025 | 2025 | In 2025, Groupe MTA Canada implemented PayFacto for Payment Processing to provide event payment processing at a major Montreal racing event. PayFacto completed a full payments deployment in three days to support onsite transactions and point of sale capture during the event. The engagement was region specific to Montreal, Canada, and targeted event operations and finance teams responsible for ticketing, concessions, and gates. Implementation work focused on core Payment Processing capabilities, including terminal provisioning for card present acceptance, contactless and EMV transaction handling, payment gateway configuration, and transaction routing to acquiring networks. Configuration included settlement and reconciliation workflows aligned to the event finance cycle, real time transaction authorization, and batch settlement scheduling typical for payment processing deployments. PayFacto was configured to handle rapid transaction bursts and to scale throughput for peak event windows. The deployment was integrated with onsite point of sale and box office transaction flows to centralize authorization and settlement for event receipts. Operational coverage was limited to the Montreal event footprint and the finance and event operations functions, with PayFacto serving as the primary payment processing layer during the event. The implementation emphasized end to end transaction visibility for event finance teams. Rollout was executed as a rapid, single event go live, with PayFacto completing end to end provisioning and operational handover within the three day window. Governance centered on operational readiness for onsite staff, transaction monitoring during event hours, and settlement handoffs to finance teams after event close. The deployment prioritized rapid provisioning and scalable transaction handling to support event operational tempo. |
