In 2022, Grupo Éxito deployed Gosocket E-invoicing to automate reception and processing of electronic tax documents, implementing a solution aligned with AR Automation practices. The implementation targeted the finance organization, specifically accounts payable operations in Colombia.
Gosocket E-invoicing was configured to manage very high volumes, processing approximately 400,000 DTEs per month while improving document traceability. Functional capabilities implemented included automated document reception, parsing and validation of invoice data, routing into AP processing queues, and exception handling for noncompliant documents, creating an auditable trail for each electronic tax document.
Operational coverage focused on supplier invoice handling and accounts payable communication, and the project delivered better supplier communication and increased process control as reported in the vendor case study. Governance changes concentrated on centralized document tracking and AP workflow orchestration, with rollout and ongoing operations managed by the Colombian finance and accounts payable teams to sustain operational efficiencies and improved traceability.

In 2020 Grupo Éxito implemented Toshiba TCx Elevate POS across Éxito, Carulla, Surtimax and Super Inter stores in Colombia. Toshiba TCx Elevate POS was deployed as the retailer's Point Of Sale platform to deliver frictionless checkout, more flexible payment options and touch friendly POS experiences at store checkouts.
The deployment emphasized in store POS terminals and touch enabled front end workflows, aligned to standard Point Of Sale functional capabilities such as payment processing flexibility, cashier transaction orchestration and touch centric UI configuration. The implementation targeted store operations and frontline retail workflows, and included a structured employee onboarding program that reduced new employee training from five to ten days down to under one day.
The rollout was delivered with local integrator LineaDatascan Colombia and was executed across Grupo Éxito retail banners in Colombia, embedding the Toshiba TCx Elevate POS application into daily checkout operations and store workforce training. Governance focused on operational readiness and cashier workflow standardization across banners, with explicit improvements to store operations and employee onboarding recorded as part of the implementation.
