Wolters Kluwer Legacy Wolters Kluwer Contawin ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2006 2007
In 2006 Grupo Questro implemented Wolters Kluwer Contawin as its ERP Financial platform. The project created an IT area from scratch to provision accounting and financial management capabilities across the company, with configuration focused on core financial accounting workflows such as general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable consistent with the ERP Financial category. The deployment was executed on-premises, supported by in-house servers and network topology designed for corporate operations, with acquired equipment including CISCO switches, SONICWALL firewalls and CONTIVITY appliances from NORTEL and administration of servers and switches. Implementation tasks covered configuration of Wolters Kluwer Contawin modules, application support, and concurrent operational support for ERP ENKONTROL and the Contpaq accounting system. Operational governance encompassed designing communications links, internet and intranet services, email and antispam controls, firewall rule sets, procurement of equipment and service contracts, creation of a suppliers portfolio, and the design of a service levels model. The program also produced the companys first annual technology budget, and established policies and procedures for ongoing operation and maintenance of the ERP Financial environment and supporting infrastructure.

Enkontrol Legacy Enkontrol ERP Construction ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2006 2007
In 2006, Grupo Questro implemented Enkontrol ERP as its Construction ERP platform from scratch to standardize project and financial operations. The implementation established a single application for managing construction project lifecycles and corporate financials across the organization. The deployment focused on modules typical of Construction ERP, including project accounting, contract management, procurement and inventory control, budgeting and cost control, and general ledger. Configuration emphasized job cost hierarchies, milestone billing and contract revenue recognition workflows, purchase order and materials tracking, and operational reporting for project managers. Role based access and workflow automation were configured to separate operational duties from finance controls. Deployment covered Grupo Questro operations in Mexico, bringing construction operations, project management, procurement and finance under the Enkontrol ERP application. Governance established centralized configuration control, defined change request procedures, and consolidated period close and billing workflows to enforce consistent project accounting practices. Training and phased user enablement were executed from scratch to align field operations and back office processes with the new Construction ERP workflows. Technically the implementation created a job centric data model within Enkontrol ERP to provide unified cost, contract and inventory visibility across projects. The Enkontrol ERP implementation positioned Grupo Questro to operate with a single Construction ERP instance supporting core business functions across construction and real estate operations.
