In 2006, Grupo Questro implemented Enkontrol ERP as its Construction ERP platform from scratch to standardize project and financial operations. The implementation established a single application for managing construction project lifecycles and corporate financials across the organization.
The deployment focused on modules typical of Construction ERP, including project accounting, contract management, procurement and inventory control, budgeting and cost control, and general ledger. Configuration emphasized job cost hierarchies, milestone billing and contract revenue recognition workflows, purchase order and materials tracking, and operational reporting for project managers. Role based access and workflow automation were configured to separate operational duties from finance controls.
Deployment covered Grupo Questro operations in Mexico, bringing construction operations, project management, procurement and finance under the Enkontrol ERP application. Governance established centralized configuration control, defined change request procedures, and consolidated period close and billing workflows to enforce consistent project accounting practices. Training and phased user enablement were executed from scratch to align field operations and back office processes with the new Construction ERP workflows.
Technically the implementation created a job centric data model within Enkontrol ERP to provide unified cost, contract and inventory visibility across projects. The Enkontrol ERP implementation positioned Grupo Questro to operate with a single Construction ERP instance supporting core business functions across construction and real estate operations.
