Oracle Legacy Oracle NetSuite ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2010 2010
In 2010 GT Nexus implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial system to centralize accounting and core finance workflows across the transportation company. The deployment focused on firmwide finance and accounting functions for a 500 employee United States headquartered organization, positioning Oracle NetSuite ERP to provide single-instance financial transaction processing and standardized chart of accounts for corporate reporting. The implementation emphasized standard ERP Financial modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, tax and period close controls, and native financial reporting. Configuration work prioritized role based access, automated approval workflows for payables and receivables, and period end close orchestration consistent with cloud native ERP Financial capabilities, with Oracle NetSuite ERP configured to enforce accounting controls and audit trails. Governance for the rollout established centralized financial process ownership in the finance organization, staged cutovers by module, and formalized change control for chart of accounts and accounting policies. Operational coverage concentrated on finance, billing, procurement and treasury related processes, with training and process documentation used to align transactional teams to the new ERP Financial workflows.

MicroStrategy Legacy MicroStrategy ONE Analytics Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2006 2018
In 2006, GT Nexus implemented MicroStrategy ONE Analytics to power the customer facing analytics and reporting capabilities on its Global Logistics portal. The deployment embedded MicroStrategy ONE Analytics within the GT Nexus on demand platform to deliver Analytics and BI services to importers, exporters, transportation carriers, suppliers, banks, and other trading partners that use the portal. The implementation centered on web reporting and interactive analytics modules, including a full featured web interface with drag and drop interactivity and self service report creation. MicroStrategy ONE Analytics was configured to allow individual customers to build unique reports and dashboards, supporting scalable query and reporting workloads and an integrated architecture for a seamless user experience across the portal. Integration scope focused on the GT Nexus data repository that captures hard to get supply chain information, and on feeding those analytics back into the range of web applications used to manage global shipments and partner performance. The deployment therefore supported business functions across supply chain visibility, logistics operations, and trading partner performance analysis, and extended analytics access to major customers such as Home Depot, Kmart, Xerox, Weyerhaeuser, and American Eagle Outfitters. Governance and operational change emphasized customer level self service reporting and embedded analytics within GT Nexus portal workflows, enabling constituencies to incorporate analytically based decision making into their operational processes. As stated by GT Nexus, these analytics enable customers to identify weak spots in their supply chains and to pursue actions intended to reduce costs, improve operational efficiencies, and enhance business performance.
