| Sage | Sage 100 (formerly MAS 90 & MAS 200) | Sage 200 | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, Gtech implemented Sage 200 as its ERP Financial application, replacing Sage 100. The deployment focused on core financial operations and was recorded during active accounts team activity in late 2018.
The implementation centered on accounts receivable workflows, credit note generation, cash and payment allocation, and refund processing. Staff entered completed refunds into Sage 200 which were then processed into credit notes, while rejected refunds and faster payments were staged on Excel spreadsheets pending approval and entry, reflecting a mixed application and spreadsheet operational pattern.
Operational coverage was concentrated in Gtech's accounts function in the United Kingdom, with an Accounts Assistant performing refund processing, customer account allocations, and administrative query handling between October 2018 and December 2018. Customer communications were managed via email and telephone as part of the day to day operational use of Sage 200.
Governance and workflow changes emphasized turning refund transactions into system posted credit notes, formalizing allocation processes inside Sage 200, and maintaining an exception handling queue in spreadsheets for items requiring additional approval. The narrative shows Sage 200 as the primary ERP Financial ledger for accounts receivable and credit management, with spreadsheet staging used for exceptions and faster payment approvals.
