The SAP Business One implementation was aligned with a multi year FIS roadmap that included an upgrade path to SAP B1 v9.3 to handle consolidated transactional volumes and large upload datasets.
Integrations were a central element of the implementation and ongoing program. HH Global engaged BeOne Solutions and HHub Development to audit, redesign and redevelop the HHub to SAP Business One integration, a change that reduced document failures by approximately 99 percent and lowered manual rework by 1.5 full time equivalent. Supplier e invoicing and end to end AP automation were integrated with Tungsten and payment orchestration was linked to HSBC Net. Reporting integrations produced a Finance Data Warehouse and moved group reporting from SSRS to BOARD, while FreshService was implemented to provide structured finance system support and SLA tracking.
Operational ownership and governance rested with finance systems and FP&A teams, with consolidated processes for annual planning, budgeting, forecasting and monthly board reporting. The program scope documented in the roadmap covered consolidation of 21 transactional databases and upgrades of approximately 40 TB of upload databases into SAP Business One to create a unified ERP Financial backbone for the finance function.
