Aptitude Software Legacy Aptitude RevStream Revenue Cycle Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2018 2019
In 2018, H.J. Heinz implemented Aptitude RevStream to strengthen Revenue Management and formalize revenue recognition controls as part of a broader Oracle Cloud Financials R19 initiative. H.J. Heinz Aptitude RevStream Revenue Management work focused on aligning revenue recognition and accounting flows between RevStream and Oracle applications. The implementation covered detailed configuration of revenue rules in accordance with SOP 97-2, and the setup of accounting and invoicing rules and revenue contingencies inside Oracle Receivables. Functional modules implemented in the program included Oracle General Ledger, Receivables, Revenue Management, i-Receivables, Oracle Payables, Cash Management, i-Expense, AME and e-Business Tax, with Aptitude RevStream used specifically for revenue orchestration and recognition processes. Integrations were explicitly executed between Aptitude RevStream and Oracle Receivables for revenue recognition and invoicing reconciliation, while taxation was configured across e-Business Tax for US sales tax, Canadian GST and EMEA VAT. The project also configured Tax Content Service, Tax Determination Services, lookup codes, TCA geography and classification structures, and fed revenue reporting and forecasting models into Hyperion and Discoverer reporting environments. Operational governance included a multi-org configuration creating a new Business Group, Legal Entity, Set of Books and Operating Unit for H.J. Heinz, comprehensive UAT with TE040 test scripts and BR100/MD050 documentation, regression testing to validate the new organization, and coordinated technical and functional support and user training across finance, tax and receivables teams. Aptitude RevStream was restated in integration design and test plans to ensure end to end revenue recognition and accounting alignment.
