In 2017, Halo Leisure expanded its deployment of Xplor Legend to better exploit member data and support more intelligent customer communications. Halo Leisure used Xplor Legend within the Gym Management category as an operational platform leveraging front of house, online bookings and reporting modules that were already in place.
The implementation concentrated on configuring Xplor Legend’s front of house and online bookings modules to centralize member profiles and booking histories, while adapting the reporting module to surface behavioral and transactional segments for marketing. Standard Gym Management workflows such as membership lifecycle tracking, attendance-driven segmentation and booking-triggered workflows were used to create targeted communication triggers.
Operationally the work aligned front of house operations with sales and marketing functions so reporting outputs could directly feed campaign scheduling and customer outreach workflows. Xplor Legend was instrumented to provide segment lists and event-driven reports that the marketing team used to plan relevant and entertaining member engagement.
Governance shifted toward centralized member data ownership and cross-functional campaign orchestration, with the Group Sales and Marketing team taking responsibility for using member metrics. The stated objective was to make effective use of the company’s member information to strengthen brand loyalty, increase retention and minimise attrition, a strategic aim voiced by Cathy Fletcher, Group Sales and Marketing Manager at Halo Leisure.
