In 2021, Hamilton Reserve Bank implemented Temenos Payments to support Payment Processing for real-time and cross-border transactions. The bank also deployed Temenos Transact, Temenos Financial Crime Mitigation and Temenos Infinity on the Temenos cloud-native platform to scale operations as it plans to onboard at least one million new customers and serve a rapidly expanding global clientele from its headquarters in Saint Kitts and Nevis.
The Temenos Payments implementation centers on real-time transaction processing, cross-border payment orchestration and automated settlement workflows consistent with Payment Processing capabilities. Configuration focused on straight-through processing, automated clearing and reconciliation flows, and integration with digital channel APIs exposed by Temenos Infinity to ensure end-to-end payment lifecycle handling.
Integrations were implemented across the Temenos suite, linking Temenos Payments to Temenos Transact for core account and ledger posting, to Temenos Financial Crime Mitigation for compliance screening, and to Temenos Infinity for customer facing journey orchestration. Operational coverage targets global payment rails and cross-border corridors used by the bank, enabling payments to flow from front-end digital channels through payments orchestration to settlement and compliance checkpoints.
Governance and workflow changes emphasized regulatory transparency, automated compliance checkpoints and risk mitigation embedded in payment processing. Temenos Financial Crime Mitigation was used to surface alerts and enforce rules within payment flows, while Temenos Infinity standardized customer authentication and consent workflows. The integrated deployment leverages the Temenos cloud-native architecture and provides Straight-Through Processing rates of over 99 percent, positioning Temenos Payments as the bank level Payment Processing platform for scalable, compliant transaction operations.
