In 2025, HammondCare implemented Workday Absence Management as part of a coordinated Workday deployment that included recruitment, onboarding, core HR, reporting, learning, absence, and compensation modules. This implementation positioned Workday Absence Management within HammondCares Absence and Leave Management footprint, centralizing leave entitlements, absence request workflows, and manager self service into the HR technology stack.
The absence configuration emphasized standard Absence and Leave Management capabilities, including leave type configuration, accrual and balance calculation, approval routing, and absence reporting tied to core HR records. Workday Absence Management was configured to operate with consolidated core HR master data, ensuring that absence triggers and entitlement calculations referenced a single personnel record and standard absence workflows aligned with People Operations processes.
Integration architecture centered on maintaining continuity with HammondCares existing ichris payroll system, with Atturra embedded in the program to lead ichris data migration, integration testing, and cutover activities. The integration approach included staged data reconciliation, end to end integration testing, and post go live hyper care, with triage meetings used to resolve data and interface issues quickly and preserve payroll continuity throughout the transition.
Program governance combined internal subject matter experts with specialist external resources to fill critical capability gaps, ensuring uninterrupted payroll operations and knowledge transfer to HammondCare staff. The engagement delivered a unified system for managers and employees, maintained pay cycle integrity during cutover, and transferred operational capability to the internal team while consolidating absence processes under Workday Absence Management within HammondCares Absence and Leave Management practice.

The deployment established Microsoft 365 as the primary productivity and collaboration fabric for HammondCare, with evidence of Microsoft 365 use also surfaced on the HammondCare public website.
The Microsoft 365 implementation encompassed core collaboration capabilities typical of the Collaboration category, including enterprise email and calendaring, document libraries and intranet sites, personal file sync and sharing, real-time chat and meeting functionality, and the Office productivity suite. Microsoft 365 was configured to support content management, team collaboration, and knowledge sharing, aligning platform capabilities with clinical coordination and corporate productivity workflows.
Operational coverage extended across HammondCare’s corporate and care delivery functions in Australia, with the platform serving internal communications, team collaboration, and external-facing content where the public site references Microsoft 365 components. The tenant-based architecture implies centralized administration of users and resources, enabling cross-departmental access to shared sites and collaboration spaces.
Governance centered on centralized tenant administration, role-based access and identity controls, and formalized content governance to manage sharing and information protection across healthcare and corporate records. Adoption and rollout activities focused on configuring collaboration sites and user workspaces, and embedding Microsoft 365 workflows into care operations, HR, and IT service processes.
