| ADP | UKG Pro HCM (ex UltiPro HCM) | ADP Workforce Now | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, Harlem United converted from UKG Pro HCM, previously known as UltiPro HCM, to ADP Workforce Now and ADP Enterprise Time and Attendance. The deployment designated ADP Workforce Now as the Core HR platform to centralize employee records and payroll processing for the organization. The implementation formalized payroll and timekeeping under ADP Workforce Now and Enterprise Time and Attendance to support routine processing.
ADP Workforce Now was configured with Core HR and the Enterprise Time and Attendance module to maintain company payroll for more than 350 employees, with bi-weekly payroll processing established as the operational cadence. Functional configuration included setting up employee file allocations in anticipation of an automated general ledger feed, and creating output files for 403B and 403B loan contributions and payments. Time capture workflows were implemented to feed payroll runs and to align attendance records with payroll calculation.
Integration work focused on operational handoffs rather than a technical middleware consolidation. General ledger data was manually entered into Excel spreadsheets for downstream loading into Great Plains, and payroll benefit remittance files were produced for transmission to 403B administrators. Payroll and timekeeping operations therefore impacted HR and finance functions across Harlem United, providing payroll processing, benefits remittance, and audit support.
Governance and process changes included establishing allocation rules in employee records to enable future GL automation while retaining manual GL extraction into Excel for loading into Great Plains. HR and finance collaborated to gather information for the 2016 budget and to provide auditors with payroll and timekeeping documentation during the annual audit. ADP Workforce Now served as the Core HR system for ongoing payroll, time and attendance, and benefits contribution workflows.

The implementation included tenant-level configuration for mail routing, SharePoint site architecture, Teams provisioning, and file sync policies to align collaboration behaviors with organizational needs.
Identity and access are managed through Azure Active Directory to provide single sign-on and conditional access across Microsoft 365 services, aligning identity management with the Collaboration environment. Operational coverage includes administrative, program, and fundraising functions within the United States organization, with collaboration content and selected assets surfaced to external stakeholders via the public website.
Governance emphasizes centralized tenant administration, role-based access controls, site and team lifecycle management, and baseline compliance settings to support nonprofit workflows. These governance controls standardized document sharing and meeting workflows across departments and centralized administrative oversight of the Microsoft 365 Collaboration environment.
