In 2010, Hathway implemented Oracle E-Business Suite to centralize ERP Financial capabilities for its Finance and Accounts organization. The Oracle E-Business Suite deployment focused on core accounts and Oracle Financials functionality, providing a consistent general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and statutory compliance foundation across the finance function.
The implementation included configuration and functional delivery of core financial modules, workflow process automation for approvals and accounting transactions, and the use of Oracle Application Express APEX to build scalable, secured enterprise extensions to the EBS environment. Business Intelligence tooling was implemented alongside Oracle E-Business Suite to provide reporting and analytical views tied to the financial ledger and transactional systems, and a GST implementation was executed to meet tax compliance requirements.
Operational coverage centered on Finance and Accounts, with IT enabled transformation projects run through a financial systems lead responsible for process automation and application extension work. In 2015, Hathway implemented Oracle Cloud HCM as a Core HR deployment on Oracle's cloud platform. The program ran alongside broader Oracle EBS and corporate applications work between April 2015 and September 2018 and targeted consolidation of HR and workforce management capabilities into a cloud native Human Capital Management stack.
The implementation included Oracle Fusion HCM as the primary HRMS layer and a module set covering Oracle Fusion iExpense for expense management, Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service PBCS for financial planning alignment, a Leave Management System, Time and Attendance, and Travel Assist for travel and reimbursement workflows. The scope also encompassed GST rollout and upgrade activities within Oracle applications and specific legal entity demerger configuration to reflect organizational changes. Database and application migration activities labeled Intel Migration for Oracle Apps DB and application components were part of the technical workstream.
Integrations were explicitly executed between Oracle Cloud HCM and Hathway corporate applications to provide HR master data flows, expense and travel transaction exchange, and planning inputs to PBCS. The workstream connected HR operations with finance and payroll adjacent processes to support statutory tax updates and budgeting integration, with the implementation oriented to run on Oracle Cloud HCM as the authoritative Core HR system.
Governance and delivery were led through solution architecting and a PMO model, including functional and technical blueprints, project planning and implementation roadmaps, business process reengineering, change management, documentation, and executive level communications.
