SAP SAP ERP ECC 6.0 SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial ERP Financial Management Edenhouse 2019 2020
In 2019, Havfram implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial solution, executing a system conversion from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 with project guidance from Edenhouse. The conversion targeted Havfram's corporate finance and accounting operations based in Norway and consolidated transaction processing across its operational business units. The SAP S/4 HANA deployment centered on core financial modules typical for ERP Financial implementations, including Financial Accounting, Controlling, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting and bank accounting capabilities. Configuration work emphasized S/4 HANA's simplified financial data model and universal journal, with scope for financial close orchestration and real time posting aligned to standard S/4 HANA financial workflows. As a system conversion, the project preserved existing integration touchpoints while remediating custom code and revalidating interfaces, with data migration and reconciliation activities scoped into the cutover plan. Implementation activities included configuration, master data harmonization, conversion of transactional and master data, test cycles and a structured cutover to production aligned to Havfram's operational calendar. Edenhouse acted as the implementation partner guiding governance, go live coordination and technical conversion tasks, delivering the SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial platform for Havfram in 2019.
