Oracle Legacy Oracle Cerner Siemens Soarian Electronic Health Record ERP Services and Operations n/a 2014 2014
In 2014 Hawai'i Pacific Health implemented Oracle Cerner Siemens Soarian as its enterprise Electronic Health Record across its network. The deployment established a single vendor clinical record platform intended to unify documentation, ordering, scheduling, and patient registration workflows across the organization. The Oracle Cerner Siemens Soarian implementation covered core Electronic Health Record capabilities, including clinical documentation and computerized provider order entry, medication administration workflows, inpatient and ambulatory charting, and scheduling and registration configuration. Configuration work emphasized standardized clinical templates, problem lists, and order sets consistent with hospital and clinic workflows. Operational scope extended across four islands and seven facilities, supporting hospital inpatient units, emergency departments, and outpatient clinics within the Hawai'i Pacific Health system. The implementation was structured to provide a consistent patient record across geographically distributed sites, enabling shared clinical workflows and centralized administrative processes such as registration and scheduling. Governance and rollout activities focused on clinical workflow alignment and change control across facilities, with phased adoption to accommodate site-specific operational differences. Training, Go Live sequencing, and clinical governance processes were put in place to sustain standardized documentation and order management across the multi-site footprint.
