In 2016 HBF implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as an ERP Financial deployment to centralize procurement and payables within the insurer's finance organization. The program used Oracle Cloud ERP and specifically deployed Fusion Procurement and Payables Cloud modules to bring structured procure-to-pay controls into HBF's financial operations, with PrimeQ engaged as the implementation partner.
Configuration work focused on Fusion Procurement and Payables Cloud to support supplier onboarding, purchase order processing, invoice capture, automated accounts payable workflows, and procurement controls. The implementation emphasized procure-to-pay orchestration and accounts payable automation, aligning configuration with standard ERP Financial functional patterns and finance governance requirements.
The Oracle Cloud ERP environment was delivered as a cloud-hosted application and integrated to HBF's existing on-premise HR and ERP systems, using interfaces to synchronize master data and transactional flows. Integrations targeted HR data feeds and upstream transactional systems to ensure supplier invoicing and payables transactions reconciled across systems and maintained data consistency between cloud and on-premise components.
PrimeQ provided implementation services, with a Principal Consultant assigned from November 2016 through May 2019, reflecting a phased deployment and stabilization timeline. Governance centered on finance and procurement process alignment, change management for accounts payable teams, and formal operational handover to HBF finance leadership following configuration and integration completion.
