Quadax Legacy Quadax Revenue Cycle Optimization Revenue Cycle Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2020 2021
In 2020, Health Care Claims Management implemented Quadax Revenue Cycle Optimization to centralize Revenue Cycle Management across its accounts receivable and claims operations. The deployment placed Quadax Revenue Cycle Optimization at the center of claim lifecycle workflows for the company, aligning the application with commercial insurance claim handling and appeals processing. Configuration focused on standard Revenue Cycle Management capabilities, including claims submission and resubmission, denial management and appeals processing, adjustment entry to close outstanding claims, and payment research and posting. Operational routines documented in Microsoft Excel and Office were retained for case tracking, while staff were trained on claim-level activities such as requesting and sending medical records, preparing appeals, and reconciling explanation of benefits. The solution was implemented to operate alongside existing clinical and payer tools, with staff using Meditech and Quadax Systems in day to day workflows and Availity to track claims and appeals. Provider portals were routinely accessed to gather EOBs and supporting documentation, and VPNware enabled remote access for Indianapolis based A R specialists. Microsoft Word was used to generate correspondence for patients and payors, reflecting a mixed-technology operational environment. Governance emphasized role-based case management for A R specialists, documented follow up and dated tracking in spreadsheets, and standardized appeals and adjustment processes. Staff training was a core element of the rollout, with practitioners trained to use Quadax Revenue Cycle Optimization and related tools and reported meeting and exceeding quality and production goals while resolving and closing claims efficiently.
