In 2025 Hendrickson selected and deployed Esker Accounts Payable (AP Automation) to replace a legacy accounts-payable system. The deployment leverages the QAD–Esker pre-built integration to connect invoice processing and cash-cycle workflows with QAD’s ERP environment, and the solution is live across five Hendrickson business units with plans to explore further automation.
Implementation centers on Esker’s AI-driven data capture, automated reconciliation, electronic workflow routing and e-invoicing compliance capabilities to standardize and accelerate invoice-to-pay operations. Hendrickson cited improving efficiency and reducing costs as primary drivers for the purchase; the rollout is part of a broader, progressively implemented global availability model supported by local teams from both vendors.

In 2019, Hendrickson implemented Sterling Background Check to support BackGround Screening for Human Resources recruiting, with an early focus on the company internship and co op program. The implementation aligned background screening workflows to day to day hiring for full time and internship roles and was operated out of the HR recruiting function supporting field sites including the Canton Ohio recruiting office. Hendrickson implemented Sterling Background Check as part of its recruiting toolset to centralize candidate screening and adjudication workflows.
Sterling Background Check was configured to run candidate orders, status tracking, and screening result adjudication consistent with BackGround Screening capabilities. The implementation was integrated into the larger recruiting stack already in use at Hendrickson, including direct links between the screening workflow and Taleo as the applicant tracking system and Oracle for HR record keeping, with screening operations surfaced alongside SterlingONE workflows. Recruiting channels such as Indeed and LinkedIn were used to feed candidate profiles into the ATS to initiate Sterling Background Check processes.
Governance for the deployment was managed by Hendrickson Human Resources recruiting and internship program administrators, who centralized screening intake and exception handling within HR operations and recruiting coordination. The narrative connects Hendrickson Sterling Background Check BackGround Screening Human Resources recruiting as the primary relationship, with the solution embedded into candidate sourcing, ATS driven screening triggers, and HR record synchronization.

In 2012, Hendrickson implemented QAD Adaptive ERP (ex MFG/PRO) as its Manufacturing ERP platform. The deployment was positioned to centralize core finance and manufacturing operations across the organization.
QAD Adaptive ERP (ex MFG/PRO) was configured to support finance and GL processing alongside standard manufacturing ERP capabilities such as production control, inventory management, and transaction-level shop floor data flows. Configuration work emphasized QAD Finance mappings and translation logic to align transactional postings with corporate chart of accounts and downstream financial reporting.
The implementation integrated with a suite of payroll and workforce systems, notably an ADP General Ledger solution integrated with ADP Enterprise V5 Payroll, with explicit translation mapping into QAD Finance and a phased rollout to nine U.S. locations. Hendrickson also executed a Kronos V6.03 Time and Labor upgrade for 1,600 plus end-users at nine U.S. sites, and managed Oracle HCM activities for the global HR team covering nine U.S. and five global locations, with coordinated data interfaces and payroll batch testing to ensure consistent payroll to finance flows.
Governance was led by a senior program lead for HR and IT enterprise systems who directed cross-functional rollout, UAT and parallel payroll testing, report conversion, and the creation of data extracts and stored procedures to support reporting and data warehousing. The program used phased regional cutovers and translation mapping to QAD Finance to operationalize finance and payroll integration across the specified U.S. sites, while HR and payroll teams were coached on system use and application of new workflows.
