In 2024, Holicare implemented ReadyTech Cognology Talent Management to consolidate its Talent Management activities for a 30-person Australian aged care provider. The ReadyTech Cognology Talent Management deployment was scoped to support core HR workflows and compliance obligations within Holicare, aligning with the Talent Management category.
The implementation configured modules for employee onboarding, a Learning Management System, performance review systems, recruitment and selection workflows, and centralized employee records management. ReadyTech Cognology Talent Management was used to standardize position descriptions, disciplinary letter templates, HR procedures and operational manuals, and to provide ongoing HRMS user support and case resolution for managers and staff.
Operational configuration emphasized role based access and small‑organisation process flows for HR administrators, hiring managers and clinical leads across Holicare’s Australian operations. The deployment used category aligned functionality for automated onboarding checklists, LMS course assignment and performance review scheduling, supporting day to day HR administration and training coordination.
Governance and rollout were led internally by the Senior Human Resources Advisor, who drove the implementation project, user training, policy standardization and ongoing system support. The program included configuring compliance documentation and embedded workflows for recruitment, onboarding and performance management, and transferring responsibility for LMS and HR recordkeeping to the HR team.
The ReadyTech Cognology Talent Management implementation contributed directly to Holicare’s compliance posture, supporting a successful audit against Standard 7 of the Aged Care Quality Standards focused on Human Resources. The project narrative centers on systematizing Talent Management processes, formalizing governance and consolidating HR operational capabilities under the ReadyTech Cognology Talent Management application.

Functional configuration emphasized roster change handling, shift monitoring, documentation for compliance with HCP and DVA funding rules, and operational support for recruitment and staff training processes.
Operational use was executed by Rostering Coordinator and Administration Assistant roles who maintained rosters, triaged service support requests, and produced internal reports for branch operations. The implementation operated alongside Nightingale rostering software to manage scheduling and monitor shifts, and governance practices embedded roster approval, leave workflows, and recordkeeping standards into daily operations.
