In 2013, Hoyer Energie introduced the goods management solution Bison Process as its ERP Financial choice for goods and finance operations. The company group Hoyer from Visselhövede deployed Bison Process to centralize goods management workflows across its business units.
Bison Process was configured to support core goods management and ERP Financial functions, including inventory control, material movements, procurement order processing, goods receipt processing, and financial posting for accounts payable and general ledger alignment. Configuration emphasized master data alignment for materials and suppliers, valuation methods, and document flow for goods and invoice matching to unify operational and financial records.
The implementation covered logistics, procurement, warehouse operations and finance departments within the Hoyer group, with role based access controls and designated process ownership to manage transactions and approvals. Rollout and operationalization were staged across the company group to align inventory procedures and financial posting rules with applicable German accounting practices.
