Oracle Legacy Oracle Cloud ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2018 2019
In 2018, Huggins Hospital implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as the core financial system. Oracle Cloud ERP was deployed as the ERP Financial backbone for the combined GraniteOne Health deployment that included Catholic Medical Center and Huggins Hospital, aligning finance, procurement and inventory processes on a single cloud platform. The implementation delivered a suite of Oracle ERP modules configured for healthcare back-office operations, including Financials, Expense Management, Purchasing with Self Service Requisitions, and Inventory Management. The project was executed in parallel with Oracle HCM Cloud modules, covering Human Resources, Payroll, Self Service, Recruiting, and Onboarding, and included Travercent’s CAPSURE application for materials management and charge capture. Talent management capabilities for Performance, Goals and Compensation Management and Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service were scheduled to go live in March of 2019 to extend planning and workforce performance workflows. Integration work connected Oracle Cloud ERP and HCM Cloud to other internal systems and external trading partners, and the program integrated with a number of hospital-specific applications and third party vendor interfaces as part of the combined GraniteOne initiative. The implementation team used a cloud-centric architecture to centralize transactional finance, procurement and inventory records, and to provide a single source of financial truth across participating hospitals. Governance and process change accompanied the technical deployment, with a combined GraniteOne and Travercent project team transforming back-office processes and executing an accelerated nine month timeline. The implementation emphasized collaborative resourcing and process standardization to drive operational consistency across sites. Reported outcomes included streamlined operations and a more scalable integrated system to support near term needs and longer term objectives.

In 2018, Huggins Hospital implemented Oracle Cloud HCM as part of a combined GraniteOne Health program that deployed Oracle Cloud applications across Catholic Medical Center and Huggins Hospital. The Oracle Cloud HCM deployment targeted Core HR functions for Huggins Hospital and was delivered alongside an integrated ERP Cloud rollout to unify HR, payroll, finance, and supply chain processes. Oracle Cloud HCM was configured to support Human Resources, Payroll, self service, Recruiting, and Onboarding, with talent management modules for Performance, Goals and Compensation Management scheduled to go live in March 2019. The broader program also included Financials, Expense Management, Purchasing with self service requisitions, Inventory Management, and Travercent’s CAPSURE application to extend materials management and charge capture capabilities. Medical Information Technology Legacy MEDITECH as a Service (MaaS) Electronic Health Record ERP Services and Operations n/a 2023 2023
In 2023 Huggins Hospital implemented MEDITECH as a Service (MaaS) as its Electronic Health Record. The deployment uses MEDITECH Expanse delivered via the MaaS full service cloud based subscription model to support the hospital's regional community care footprint. The implementation configured core Electronic Health Record capabilities common to Expanse, including clinical documentation, computerized provider order entry, medication administration, patient scheduling, and inpatient and ambulatory workflow support. These modules were provisioned to address clinical, nursing, and ancillary workflows for a 250 employee community hospital serving a mix of year round and seasonal residents. Architecturally the solution was provisioned as a cloud native subscription, with MEDITECH handling hosting, platform updates, and onboarding services under the MaaS model to reduce upfront capital and internal staffing demands. The platform delivers the same mobile and web native Expanse experience as other customers while preserving the hospital's operational independence. Operational coverage centers on inpatient and outpatient clinical and patient services across Huggins Hospital's service area, standardizing documentation and order workflows. The MaaS subscription model is described as price competitive and intended to free up local IT and financial resources so the organization can focus on other patient and provider initiatives.
