The implementation used AFAS HR capabilities together with AFAS Profit components, specifically leveraging Insite and the verlofportal for employee self service and leave administration. Configuration accounted for sector rules by applying CAO bouwnijverheid logic within payroll and absence modules. An interim HR and payroll consultant supported Hurks from October 2017 to April 2018, performing mutation processing, advising on HR questions, and driving optimization of AFAS Profit usage through Insite and the verlofportal. Governance initiatives centralized HR transactions in AFAS HR and shifted manual HR workflows into system-based processes, aligning payroll configuration and HR operational practices with the new Core HR application.

The integration roadmap is explicit, with ongoing WhiteVision development intended to refine differentiation of AK invoices to correct cost centers and to improve project invoice coding using line recognition within 4PS Construct ERP.
