Because Certinia PSA is native to the Salesforce platform, Hyland positioned the application as the single system of record for project and customer data, which streamlined cross team visibility between delivery, finance and client management. The rollout explicitly addressed resource management complexity introduced by multiple acquisitions and varied service offerings, allowing planners to identify the dollar impact of delayed timecards and to proactively rebalance staffing across engagements.
Governance and process changes accompanied the technical rollout, with Hyland re engineering manual billing and invoicing processes within nine months and adopting process controls tied to Certinia PSA workflows. Outcomes reported by Hyland include a 695 percent ROI verified by an independent research firm and an 84 percent reduction in non billable project time, demonstrating measurable improvements in billing accuracy and project productivity.
